Hi. I'm a r00kie. I really really want to get into skydiving, and I'm going over to my local DZ for Safety Day, official 1st day of Beginning of Season this Saturday. Planning to sit through lectures and jump my tandem, and start my work towards my "A" Really really excited! Can't wait till I/we leap over the edge of the door!! Well anyway...I wanted to get a HARDCOPY (book format) of Skydiver's Information Manual SIM 2012. And I know it costs $26+ from USPA site, but figured I'd ask this great community and maybe someone has an extra one laying around that they could "sacrifice" and mail it to me ;) Thank you so so much!! And cant wait to start reading & learnig & jumping & do more reading & learning. P.S. You might want to study on how the canopy work/flies. There are some good books that cover that. Knowing how things work always helps me. What good books would you recommend that would help understanding how canopies work/operate/fly. Skydiver's worst nightmare.
