dterrick 0 #2 November 11, 2003 My Racer SST with similar canopies weighs in at 22. You'l be +/- 1 from that, most likely. Our student gear weighs about 30. sammer 0 #3 November 11, 2003 I have a 190 main and 176 reserve in a Wings W-13 container. We weighed it right after putting it together and it was 23lbs. I think I use 30 lbs. for gear though, allowing 7 more for helmet, jumpsuit, altimeter, lunch, etc. That might be a little on the conservative side for me, but with your gear being a little larger than mine, I'd say 30 lbs. for everything would be real close. towerrat 0 #4 November 11, 2003 most dropzones I've been too have a scale they use to weigh students prior to a tandem ( the ones who look like they may be pushing the limit). Gear up and weigh yourself.Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!

Racer's are a good bit lighter than most others.Miami
Blahr 0 #7 November 11, 2003 I add 35 lbs for my gear including rig, jumpsuit, clothing, helmet, footgear. My rig accounts for about 30 lbs. Its a Vector 3 V357 with a Sabre2 210 and a PD-218R
Aviatrr 0 #8 November 12, 2003 My rig is 21lbs. Mirage G3 size M3X(stainless hardware if it makes any difference), PD160R, Sabre2 150, Cypres. It weighed 19lbs when I was jumping a Stiletto 120. The Mirage is supposedly a fairly heavy rig, though. Mike
