mccordia 73 #1 October 22, 2007 We have a new Safety and Training section on our website, and have just finished the first big article. Wingsuit formation flying (direct link to the 1,2 MB .PDF) We have future articles planned on nerdy things such as GPS use, and whatever other things we can come up with... But for now, enjoy the first article. I dont want to scare anyone before starting to read, but its 25 pages long. Based on Tristans initial feedback "I want a version with pretty pictures" there are plenty of photos spread throughout the article Even some of tristan. The article focuses on flocking and all things that lead up to flying a good formation, in terms of patern, approach, flying style, and (especially) training. As stated in the article, these are the views we have on organizing, flocking and flying. So its not meant as the definitive 'end all discussion' basis of flying. If you have the time...give it a read..and I (and the people that helped in writing) definitely am interested in hearing what you think..either through PM or here.. A big thank you to the people who contributed to the article, Costyn, Steve, Macca, Alex, DSE and gadget..you guy rock! p.s. I cant be blamed for people not doing any work the rest of the dayJC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
