Tough to find a Used Lightning

A 176 used lightning is very tough to find!! Well I did find an older all F111 but was not really what I was looking for as it should have been retired... IS there a CRW used Gear Board somewhere or a different classfieds on a CRW page??

Lightning looks to be the best way to go but spending ~ $1500 on new for a more casual CRW desire seems to be more then my bankbook will want me to spend.

Any thoughts?

I've been trying to get ahold of a 218 to try out.

I spent a while looking for a use 160 a couple of years ago. Ended up going with a used hybrid Triathlong 160. Works well for the CRW I do (mostly 2-ways, no offsets) and you can find them in decent shape for $500-ish.

I think there's an old 218 floating through the classifieds.

I'm jumping a tri 135 hybrid now for the CRW jumps, but the other guys have lightnings and want to get serious with the jumps, so I'm hoping to find one quick.

I think the problem is that CRW has been gaining popularity in the past few years, so all of the used canopies have been snatched up and no one wants to part with them!

Can you mix n match Lightnings with CRW Triathlons?

In 4-ways and small stuff like that, they work great. On big ways we don't mix canopies because the canopies are enough different it can cause problems. But for casual 4-ways and such, no problem at all.

It's not a lightning, I believe it's an older F111 PD 7-Cell. I thought it was a Lightning until I saw the pictures.

Not as hard as a used crew triathalon.
Since my first crew camp last year in Statesboro I've collected a few lightnings for a team that I haven't been able to pull together here in Nova Scotia.
I currently have 1-176 lightning I bought before the camp,ZP,tail pocket,crew risers and retractable pilotchute.
I also have 2-193 lightnings with dbags and retractables.
If I could get aerodyne to answer some emails I may be willing to part with 1 or all of these canopys.
My 4 way team has dropped to a 2way team and we are looking at triathalons for 2way sequential.
