Well after the grounding of my PdeF Ninja (shame). Got my money back and my dealer said I could have any canopy at cost!!!Cheers

Try a few different ones out. The Competition Cobalt springs to mind as a good sub for the Ninja.

Ninja is crossbraced. Just wondering why you are not considering Velocity, Extreme, or Xaos?

Not sure of the official wording but something along the lines of being liable to collapse in turbulence.

I have a Crossfire 2 130 wing loaded at 1.75 to 1, and I love it. The canopy is definitely ground hungry, fast turns and light front riser pressure. It has a lot longer of recovery arch than the original Crossfire a lot lighter riser pressure, in fact the canopy is so different in performance than the original Crossfire it is almost a completely different canopy. The openings are great, with brakes set it is definitely hip sensitive. I have in a short period of time got some really incredible swoops out of mine.

Partial closing of canopy in turbulent atmospheric conditions

Searching for this has also turned up that the Ninja was pitched as a less-extreme cross-braced canopy which may go to answer my question as to why another cross-braced wasn't being considered.

Thats right mate, never had any probs with mine, in fact absoulutely loved it! Anyway haven't confirmed any orders yet, may look more into the cobalt!

get the crossfire.. love it and buying one this weekend.. cant wait to jump one again.. I had a cf1 and liked it but then I flew the cf2 and fell in love with canopy flight all over again:)
