Meso 38 #2 August 27, 2013 Hi, Please take a screenshot and attach it to this thread so that we can review it. We will need to investigate whether or not this is an ad host problem or perhaps client side malware.
BKS60 0 #3 August 27, 2013 Only shows up on my I-phone connection so don't think I can get a screen shot."You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
PhreeZone 15 #4 August 28, 2013 Its a Ad issue. If you access the site on a iDevice of any type you are presented with an ad that goes to the bottom of the Safari browser and follows you on the scrolling up or down unless you close the ad.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
theonlyski 3 #5 August 28, 2013 BKS60Only shows up on my I-phone connection so don't think I can get a screen shot. Screen shot attached. Meso: if you really need the site info, I can get it for you. They (both the ones I've pulled) seem to be ads for Bing."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message

DougH 270 #7 September 3, 2013 "Google displays ads to kids, bing for schools" That is the detached floating pop up that I am getting."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
DougH 270 #8 September 3, 2013 Walmart is another one that pops up and scrolls on mobile. Here is the ad image URL, may help you track down what ad provider is the issue. http://cache.celtra.com/api/blobs/97a02712d22fd55b30216a186950981e616f55d0bf675676f8f9e44a00e283b8/English_320x50%20Banner.png"The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
Meso 38 #9 September 5, 2013 Will look into this again, my coworker did forward a request to the ad hosts earlier this week regarding the mobile popups - will touch base and see what is happening on that front.

Meso 38 #11 October 4, 2013 Also noticed it this time... I have forwarded an e-mail to those in charge with getting it removed. We'll work on getting them gone ASAP.
Andy9o8 0 #12 November 13, 2013 The social media tootlbar is floating (vertically) over the left side of the page on my Android phone
BIGUN 1,053 #13 November 16, 2013 It stays with the scroll on a computer also... so, my venture is that it was designed that way.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
theonlyski 3 #14 November 16, 2013 BIGUNIt stays with the scroll on a computer also... so, my venture is that it was designed that way. Pretty sure it is. However on mobile devices it could be annoying. Would be an easy fix but not sure if they have bigger fish to fry."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message

And a fair amount (probably increasing) of use of this site is via phone these days. So it is a functionality issue.
Meso 38 #16 November 19, 2013 This is something we worked on before and fixed for the phones we tested with. I will take another look at this, but we implemented a media-query that hid the social media toolbar if the screen was a mobile browser width. Can you let me know what browser the phone uses? And what model phone it is. This may help in getting it resolved.
theonlyski 3 #17 November 19, 2013 Might also help to get the useragent that the browser is presenting. (though I'm not sure you guys filter by agent, it would probably work) http://whatsmyuseragent.com/"I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
