Vector to Strong conversion

Not including the cost of the packet from Strong, rig rental and the cost of jumps how much do tandem examiners charge for the conversion class. BTW I have over 200 vector jumps.

I don't remember the cost but Bram is a very good evaluator and has very good prices.

I think mine cost me less than 200.00 with gear rental and instructor fees.

I went from Strong to Vector for $230 including gear and slots and everything.

An aweful lot of busier dropzones have their own examiners and will cross-train you for free if you are going to work for them. The only rig I don't have a rating on (US Manufacturers) is Strong.

Do you happen to know how many jumps you need on Strongs to get converted to Sigmas or Vectors?

I think it's 25. One of the items on the Checklist is "Proof of 25-100 Eclipse, Parachutes de France, Racer or Strong jumps".

25 - 100. Right. But what does that mean? I can't do a conversion if I've done over 100 jumps on the other systems? No, that makes no sense. So it's got to be dependent on the system you're coming from, but I can't find info anywhere about which systems go with which numbers. I'd guess it's based on how similar the systems are to Vectors. I've written RWS, but got no response. It's a secret, or something.

Yeah, I didn't really know what they meant either. But when I called the examiner I used, he asked me if I had at least 25 Strong jumps.
