Anybody know where the cheapest place to learn AFF

Recommended Posts

... well i know a FEW things,,, and when it comes to Cheap.....i start thinking....
Internet service... insurance premiums, gasoline, groceries.....maybe lawnmowers...:D:|

the LAST thing i want.. CHEAP.... would be Skydiving lessons..... hahahaha:o

ever hear the term...
"You get what you Pay for"????

look instead, for high quality at a reasonable and fair cost...

cheap sometimes equates to cutting corners... not a good idea for AFF.....

stay enthusiastic, but be practical in your search...;) extra money for a rig, that you are not correctly trained to use safely,,,,,could be better spent on a proper education in the sport...

safety First,,, and what the Hell,,, safety second too...B|

1700 Euros is equal to $2467 today. I'm only mentioning this because I have known people who found it cheaper to travel to the US for their training. If you have frequent flyer miles and a friend to stay with, it might be worth your while to look into dropzones in the states too. Heck, in Florida the temperatures are warm enough that you'd be fine staying in a tent at a dropzone at this time of year.

PM dz.commer "Hans". He's the DZO and I'm sure will be able to help you with any questions about accomodations and what-not.

Here might be Cheap

Nowadays you'll get cheap flights there, too.

Or here:

I haven't been to either place yet :( so can't tell you how it is.

The cheapest place I've seen so far were the paratroopers in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. They do a public course once a year for a couple hundred dollars. Don't know about safety standards there, tho.

I went from only 5 jumps to doing aff 2 through my A liscence in a week an a half in Z-Hills didn't spend more than 2500. Slept in a tent on the DZ, so the only added cost is food andbeer.
Divot your source for all things Hillbilly.
