Eating.

Recommended Posts

2 cups of coffee, granola with fruit and yogurt for breakfast

gulps of water and granola bars during the day.
The greatest challenge is not getting crumbs down the back of the student's neck!
If we have a break, I may try to warm up some hotdogs or pasta.

Supper is sometime after sunset.

Avoid the booze as it causes sleep deprivation and dehydration.

Seems to me that Subway is a favorite skydiver food.
Thanks again to all of replays.

PS: flyangel2 mentioned heavy eating during JFTC...During one competition organizer baked an whole ox on a pike, the guy that was in order for baking was pouring a beer on ox during the process, and at half of comp. we had a lunch break. It was one of the finest meal that I ever have. And domestic white wine that was served along was fantastic.:)
The second part of comp after the feast ... well it was fun.;)

I'm not a breakfast person, in fact it makes me very ill.

Around lunch I'll eat some fruit or some Subway.

During the day I'll drink diet soda or water. If I'm in the heat I'll take in Gatorade as well.

But generally, I survive on caffeine and nicoteine.

Water and iced tea, and probably some pop.

Fruit. Sometimes a sandwich or Subway - but not much because my appetite is tiny while jumping.

Something baked. One jumper or another will usually show up with cookies or cake or Timbits.

Dinner could be a group BBQ, or pizza or chinese take-out, but always really late after the last load. Great way to end the day!

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

thsi could possibly have its own thread but it kinda fits in here.

i was wondering ( as im still a whuffo) if skydiving is a tiring sport. and from teh amount you all seem to eat it suggests it is. some sports like cycling are tiring while your doing them but i can snowboard all day and not feel tired until the very end.

Depends on the intensity with which you are doing it. If you are having more than 4 jumps a day, you may be hungry.

But finally I believe its really personal how much tiring is a sport to you. I can cycle for hours with no problem
