Rupert Jee Goes Skydiving (Skydiving on Letterman)

Recommended Posts

For anyone that missed the original airing on Letterman on Monday night, part of the skit can be seen on Letterman's website below.

Rupert jumped at Skydive Cross Keys/Freefall Adventures on June 17th, and the skit that CBS put together turned out great. Glenn Bangs did the tandem, and the video footage was provided by myself, Jason Aubin, and Dave Pancake.

Rupert wanted that picture framed to put in his deli, so I edited out the drogue, as well as the mic/transmitter attached to him.

The missing drogue was the first thing I noticed... I'm like WTF? Then read your explanation... d'oh! :)

Where's the beer he chugged in the sketch? I'm sure it wasn't actually before the real jump, but the editing made it look like it was.

A good example to show whuffos before doing a tandem skydive.[:/]

Thanks for posting. I missed the show.
pretty funny skit- its cool to see that they put some humor into it. even if they included beer before the jump.

Dave, that'll have to be one of those questions you have to deal with for a while, kinda like:

"Can I get Freefalling by Tom Petty on my video?"
