Al Jaffee has died at 102.

He was the cartoonist who created Mad Magazine's "Fold In" back cover.
And a lot of other stuff in Mad.

RIP Al, thanks for ALL the laughs. And there were a LOT of them.

That makes you a remarkable woman. I don't recall any of the girls having the slightest interest in MAD Magazine. Tell me you bought National Lampoon too?

I started on Mad when I was in Brazil the first time, which meant between 6 and 11 (though probably towards the end of that). The second time (15-17) also. It was available there for some reason. National Lampoon wasn’t, so I never read it as much. By college most of my fun reading was waning
