Skydive in China.Soo many Fun stuff going on..

Recommended Posts

Hey Peter! I know you enjoyed jumping my Maverick F-111 7-cell. Guess you got the Solo licence even if not the full internationally recognized "A" licence.

For the thread:

Peter Xu did get trained at a DZ here in Ontario. He's pretty enthusiastic and had limited chances to jump here, so we did have to restrain his enthusiasm at times and hold him back a little. On the other hand, there were also times when I think some of us bent the rules a little, or cut him more slack than we might a local, because we knew he was going back to China. So for example if we knew he wanted to go try BASE jumping back home anyway, no matter what we did, is it better to hold him back or let him get more experience quickly, even if at a slightly higher risk?

Being a pioneer has its added risk -- although that shouldn't stop one from trying to accumulate as much knowledge as possible from what's out there.

It's an interesting situation, the transition between practicing a sport where it is well developed vs. where there's little knowledge and activity.

Feel free, Peter, to comment on how things seemed from your point of view.

Did you ever think about joining Sofpidarf? They will teach you and represent exactly your ideas!

No seriously... Surviving the 50 jumps you made is pure luck - continue like that and you will be dead within a year. You do not learn skydiving or even basejumping from the internet. That's not brave, that's not smart, that's not pioneering - that's just plain stupid.
I don't know how the officials handle it at your place but I suppose an accident or a fatality would throw civil skydiving in China quite a few steps back. Think about it!
Nice words are not always true - and true words are not always nice.

............................................................................

We have been trying to tell you that civilian skydiving is almost non-existent in Mainland China. How can you set back something that does not exist???????

If he dies at a government-sponsored DZ, embarrassed officials will probably try to hush it up.
Bejing will not waste time worrying about one stupid peasant killing himself while doing something stupid.
Local press may never hear about the accident and they will be far too polite to print any stories.
His family will never sue the Chinese Air Force for their son's crimes.
The incidence of civilians jumping from Chinese Air Force airplanes will drop from 0.000001 percent to zero.
Soup may taste funny tomorrow!
Hah!
Hah!

How do think skydiving started in first place?
With bunch of rules and shit?

The rule is written with blood. They will make their own rules in time. If the community send out fuck ton of students out oversea to learn and adapt they may do so. But otherwise we let them carry on.

Dear,Peter chapman. I got this far, all because you help me alot in past, You trust me and for that .So i can Fly the old F-111,when me just a fresh out of Solo jump course student. and we Discussion alot about BaseJump... and i learn alot from you...Especially the canopy pilot course . More than 6 hours lesson but i was enjoy it alot!
Member i was begging DZ every coach for a Tracking-suit jump but the Chief instructor just wont let me do it...Because everybody think I don't have skill to Tracking in suit... Even i prictice most last jump just on Tracking Skill. But you tell me i maybe can do a Tracking suit jumps... and after i didn't jump for over a years my No.48 jumps I did a good tracking jump in suit. cover alot distance with out any spin or danger. and safely land a Sabre 1 , Cuz you fly one and I heard you tell me how Sabre 1 flys..
Because some one can trust me... and let me take a bit risk for learning to gain more Skill and knowlage. rather than just say you can't do that... that will toke me forever to BASE Jump or even fly tracking suit.....Its just a diffrent way of studying I would say.
Because ,I have limited money and time at Canada.... jump regular like student ,get A lisence wont help much when i back in china and Doing base jumping... biside.... why not Learn mush as possible when i can learn and ,bring all that Knowlege back to china and use that to keep me alive.
Just to make sure..... when i jumped at Anyang.... there only one rig left....No AAD , Cus all AAD are moved to the Tandem Rigs... they have safire 119ft, and Sabre 150ft, and 270ft accuracy canopy , obviously i have only one choice the Sabre 150ft. and i opend at 4000ft did alot canopy checks and Flares... doing much aspossible Drills for get used to a New canopy and size... there not luck that make me this far... and i land very softly. on target area. the photo you see i was soo close to tandem was . I was on my final aprroch , and Tandem coming across me behind me ,and keep fly with same direction with my final.... i did't chasing them.... just in the Final we all on the same altitude and same derections ... that's all.
I want a Bridman GTi...... Soo bad...
