Occupy Wallstreet Terrorists?

Recommended Posts

It seems that the FBI caught 5 members of Occupy Cleveland trying to blow up a bridge going into a "1%" neighborhood.

Bill Ayres, Occupy supporter and unrepentant member of the Weather Underground, would be so proud.

What sets the alleged Ohio operation apart is its link to self-proclaimed anarchists — with no connections to international terrorist organizations — who believed that members of the ubiquitous Occupy protest movement had not gone far enough to express their displeasure with high-flying corporate America.

The Bay Area has long had this black hooded anarchist element and they too are participating under the cloud of the Occupy protests. Since the Occupiers refuse to establish any sort of leadership or controls, they're impotent when it comes to self policing.

That said, a significant portion of the Occupiers agree with a general tenant of "by any means necessary" and while they may not participate in some of the criminal acts, do not hate them or consider stopping. Some members do and do.

Saw a funny sign today congratuating the SFPD for successfully vandalizing the Valencia corridor (posher, gentrified end of the Mission district). This was an Occupy/etc march on the evening of Apr 30th that lead to a lot of store fronts and cars being damaged, as well as the outside of a police station. The march had police escort but they did not act. So the story line being told by some is that these acts weren't done by Occupy, but rather by the cops. Like a staged moon landing allegation, no way for you to disprove.

You do know that Cleveland is 460 miles away from Wall Street, don't you?

Would it make you feel better if I called them the Cleveland branch of the Occupy Wall street movement? B|

Oh, yes, much.
Wait - define "branch".
