Seems like the title matched the information known at the time.

By the time Grav had made his post it had been established the nutcase gunman didn't have a connection with the Occupy group. I'll give Grav the benefit of the doubt that he might have just read and linked a bad article, but the one I posted 36 minutes after Grav's had correctly reported officials had properly IDed the individual and stated he was not part of the Occupy group.

Yet, folks on the, uh, (obviously a misnomer here) right, kept continuing to claim some connection between the nutcase gunman and Occupy.

So, no. It wasn't the "information known at the time."

Just wishful thinking.

GM posted the OP at 1922 on the 16th. Your post was 0758 on the 17th.

I'm pretty sure that 1922 to 0758 is more on the order of 12 hours and not 30 minutes.
