It's too bad The New Yorker is even sold on newstands, because the people who read it and understand the humor all have subscriptions anyway (oops- I let mine expire...). Maybe that's elitist, but satire does take a few smarts to appreciate. As usual, the Dems are making much too much of a stink about it.
