victories in Ohio and Texas yesterday, experts said the Super Delegates should all go to Sen. Barack Obama under a
Democrat party formula designed to compensate for historic racial prejudice.

The Affirmative Action formula will hand Sen. Obama the nomination, even if, as the Clinton campaign contends, he
gets only half of the Super Delegates — an amount proportionate to his genetic racial mix.

Meanwhile, Sen. Clinton’s lawyers will press their case that the former First Lady should get a Super Delegate
“bonus” of 23 percent, in addition to those already committed to her, because women in general earn only 77 cents
for every dollar men earn, according to labor union figures.

Democrat National Committee Chairman Howard Dean said the closeness of the race only serves to highlight the
value of the Super Delegates.

“If we didn’t have these professional politicians to ultimately pick the nominee,” said Mr. Dean, “the future of our
party would be left in the hands of common, ordinary people.”

The state government did change the date of the election. There is no law that requires them to get permission from the parties to do so. The only reason primaries are held on the date of the general election is for convenience and cost savings. The Dems had a choice, same as the Repubs. They could go ahead and hold their primary the same day as the election, as they have in the past, or they can schedule their own date. They were under no requirement by any law to hold their primary earlier than allowed by DNC rules. The state Dems decided to keep it on the date of the statewide elections. This violated rules that the DNC had laid down. To blame the Republicans for problems within the Democratic party is nonsense. It was no more the Republicans fault than it was yours or mine.

I just hope that the people realize that they will be choosing from one hypocrite over another. Not that McCain is any better but I have to laugh at both Obama and Clinton in how they can tell one group of people that they will stand up to protect the working man/woman and do away with NAFTA yet turn around and tell another group of people, don't worry we are NOT serious about doing away with NAFTA. It's all political rhetoric.

Obama may be a good public speaker telling the lemmings things that they want to hear. But you know he will not be able to deliver on half the crap he tells people and Clinton is just the same, except that a vote for Clinton is a vote to bring Bill back in control.

Now McCain is not much better. McCain is nothing more than Bush light.
