Good for John Lovell!!! Justice was done at that Subway.
Both my sons are Marines, and they have a couple of sayings:

A Marine: Your best friend or your worst enemy...

The deadliest weapon on earth- A Marine and his gun

"This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine..."

There isnt a Marine in the world that will call his weapon a..."gun".
Better call your sons and get it right.

It is hard for me to find the words to properly express my gratitude to all of you who have served in the military. We are all free because of you. Thank you does not seem to cut it, but THANK YOU.

Bill.....you owe me no thanks. It was a long time ago and since then this country provided me with a pretty good life so it's all worked out in the end.

On the other hand......give your sons the respect they deserve and love em unconditionally because they are going to need it.

Considering this post (Ex-Marine Teaches Pickpocket a Lesson) it should be:

Elderly retired marines: 3
Robbers: 0

I couldn't get the video to work on the AP site, but here's one that shows the ass-whoopin'.

Both VERY COOL!
Lesson learned:
Fuck with the wrong "Victim" and you maybe the one calling 911.
Harry Callahan: Do you know the emergency phone number for San Francisco General? Well, why don't you call them right now and have them send down an ambulance. Tell them there's two sorry-looking assholes here with multiple contusions and various abrasions and broken bones.
You're as wonderful as a slinkie!! NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.
