If you're giving a statement to internation press, try not to sound like the CIA Director who said:

"This agency does not do torture."

Seems to be a trend.:|

I have more concern about the truth of his statement than about his English. How many Americans can speak good English anyway?

?? How's that? You express yourself with other people orally; you express yourself to other people on-line through your writing. Carelessness in either is an indication that you don't care much about how your message looks or sounds. That doesn't mean you aren't smart. You may just care more about content than presentation, and that's fine. Just keep in mind that other people may feel the same way.

It's a commot Americanism. Get over it; "We don't do *".

Where's that pic of a bunny with a pancake on his head? That would come in handy right about now...

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

An Englishman's way of speaking absolutely classifies him,
The moment he talks he makes some other Englishman despise him.
One common language I'm afraid we'll never get,
Oh, why can't the English learn to...

Set a good example to people whose English is painful to your ears?
The Scotch and the Irish leave you close to tears
There even are places where English completely disappears:
Well, in America, they haven't used it for years...

The huge difference is that typing takes longer (for most) than speaking. By the time the word is half typed, I'm already four words ahead. That's how "international" became "internation".

No problems there; again, if misspelled words and the like don't bother you, then there's no reason to type more carefully or use a spellchecker. Some people find speaking correctly too much trouble as well.
