RealPlayer sucks major ass and I refuse to have it on my computer anymore. If you use it, it turns itself on when you turn your computer on. That is bullshit. And, when you try to use it, it asks you for upgrades/registration/etc.
QuickTime and WMP are the best. RealPlayer = shit.

I totally agree. Everything thinks I am nuts, but I refuse to install it out of principal. I lose some content because of that, but so be it. Their codec sucks ass, so the quality is horrible anyway. If enough people did that it would create backlash. For example, during all the hype surrounding the release of Lord of the Rings, one of the trailers (the 2nd one I think) came out in official copy only in real. Within 12 hours there were at least a dozen mirror sites with conversions in .avi and.mpg Everyone griped, New Line felt it so much, the next trailer came out in Quicktime. Malachi

Boy aint that the truth! That's like Apple's entire history. Actually though its testimony to how great Apples actual products have always been, that the company could survive for so long despite its UNBELIEVABLY SUCKY marketing "strategies".
