Opie 0 #3 February 18, 2002 Pure speculation here but most skydivers have no idea where Rosharon, TX. is but many many more know of Skydive America PB. Whatever Scotty's reasons, his home cookin will be a nice addition to the dropzone.OpieIf your not on the edge, you can't enjoy the view!
Slappie 9 #4 February 18, 2002 Opie.... Rhosharon, Tx. is where Skydive Spaceland is.. It's about 25 minutes south of Houston. I'll surely miss Scotty and his stories along with his food. It's not going to be the same around the DZ with him and Tammy not around My New Website with 24hr Chat

Opie 0 #6 February 18, 2002 I meant no offense to the Texas contingent. Just seems that Florida and Arizona seem to get the larger midwest draws in the wintertime. OpieIf your not on the edge, you can't enjoy the view!
Hooknswoop 19 #7 February 18, 2002 Rumor mill says it is because the DZO says they "don't fit the image he is trying to portray for Skydive Spaceland". Translation=he doesn't need them anymore.Hook
Pammi 0 #8 February 18, 2002 *pout* I wish we could come Scotty!! You were so sweet and such a fantastic teacher when we were down last November! I'm so disappointed you won't be around when we can get there again! Take care!!Pam "Zoomy"Closing pin jewelry
Slappie 9 #9 February 18, 2002 Quote"don't fit the image he is trying to portray for Skydive Spaceland". Ang just what "image" is he trying to get at?Again I say I'll miss Scotty... Why isn't he just moving north the Waller? They need a food consession? My New Website with 24hr Chat
Hooknswoop 19 #10 February 18, 2002 I don't know what image he is trying to portray. SSL is all about the $$$. I now, I worked there, full time, for 16 months. He probably has found a way to make more $$$ off of food concessions. Scotty and I always got along and I already iss hanging out w/ him and listening to his stories. Why did the DZO say I couldn't teach there part time anymore (2nd weekend after quiting full-time) for refusing to take an AFP LVL 2 w/ a 300 lb exit weight that no other instructor would take?Hook

Oh, ya, and $85.00 to assemble it, $65.00 of which goes to the rigger.
