UA seems pretty athlete-oriented, is it good for just general wear or is it really only good for games/practice? If you've had both UA and HC, which did you like better? If you know of something else that works really well for winter skydiving as well as general use in cold weather, please post that too. Its thin and very warm - only complaints I heard about it, was it was tight in the underarm. I was looking to buy some of this Under Armour stuff after x-mas. I jump in regular long underwear stuff now with fleece leggings and other layers on top. JudyBe kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. Yeah, UnderArmour *is* very athletic orientated, it was originally designed for football players, to fit comfortably under pads, etc. It is very good, too, from what I understand, although I've never personally used it. I use the Poly-Pro stuff the military uses, you can pick it up at any Army/Navy store or at http://www.uscav.com--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Deuce 1 #6 December 9, 2002 The Under Armour stuff is designed to fit skin-tight, so don't order sizes on the small side. I wear it every time I skydive. It really reduces the bruising from the harness pinching skin. When it's hot I wear a short sleeve heat gear shirt, and when it's cold I wear a long sleeve turf shirt under the cold gear mock t, and the cold gear leggings. I love this stuff, it keeps you really dry, and really warm. I also have the Hind Arctic Drylete, but the Under Armour stuff is better. The Under Armour stuff is really good if your jumpsuit is snug. They are supposed to be making it for women soon, so I bet you'd even see B-squared wearing it. It's like cold-weather spandex. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Other items worth getting are gloves that have either the "wind stopper" or "wind blocker" tag on them, same goes for head wear.
