The new designs are just wonderful (all hand made) It's a skillful art for bringing a smile to the faces of many as the colors hit the sky. You can tell when ex-E.O.D. guys are doing the show when the "salutes" (titanium mixed shells) with little bright flashes & big boom,boom,boom. I had a summer job with Lotus Fireworks (sub-worked for Garucci & Gambelli) We never got to see or own shows (work-safety). It is more fun to "just watch" with family. p.s.Quit the night our 1 and only EVER 12" shell( like a basketball) got hangfire... then WHAMMO! cracked & all 4 stages, went off in the mortar tube. It cracked the earth.
