I saw a segment on 20/20 once where they tested if the kind of food you consume affects how much alcohol you absorb. They used guys all about the same weight, and gave them the same amount of alcohol but one guy got a steak dinner, one got typical bar appetizers, and I think the other got a pasta dish. After a couple hours, they tested them with the breathilizer. The guy who had the steak dinner had the lowest alcohol count. Go for the protein.
