Unstable 8 #1 October 27, 2003 Lets give these Hard-working ladies a Round of Applause. Our little 182 Isn't a looker, but she's a work horse and the backbone of our DZ. She's just as much a Member of the Club as Any of us! As i understand, Kansas State University Parachute Club Is the only non-profit skydiving club that actually owns our own aircraft. As of this Tuesday, we will no longer owe on her. All skydivers i think develope an emotional attachment with their home DZ's Ship, and you know what, I love this airplane!! How does she do for you? Is she modified for faster climbing, does she get you to 10k?? The only problem is that she doesnt have a flip door and so you have to go all the way up without any door. During winter is a good idea to jump at 3k.
