dustin19d 0 #1 June 19, 2004 I'm leaving for the Sand Box in a couple of weeks. I haven't bought CD's in several years. And I haven't been following the whole music scene the last 3 years. I need something to listen to on my down time there, so can you guys tell me what your favorite CD is. "New-Old" It don't matter. All types of music welcome. I appreciate it! Dougiefresh 0 #8 June 19, 2004 White Stripes "elephant" has been in my rotation a lot lately. Good music to psych you up for a jump. Lemon Jelly "Lost Horizons" is chill, sorta jazzy trance... good stuff.Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. --Douglas Adams

PurpleWill 1 #17 June 21, 2004 System Of A Down - Steal This Album. Not only a brilliant band but also highly politically active group, constantly part of some movement, lobbying congress to do, or stop doing something. The good old American way. Deftones - Around the fur. This one for the first track. My own Summer - real powerful stuff. Seether - Disclaimer. When I first heard their stuff I couldn’t believe they were South African. A year latter they signed a 5 album contract in America. Rammstein - Mutter. Gut German rock/metal electro fusion. There is a lot of stuff worth doing but then there is a lot of stuff worth doing instead.
