It seems that three of the illustrious Pink Mafia - Mel, Ali, and Brook - haven't recieved their SCR.(the horror) After all, Skyfest has the biggest SCR ceremony in the world. turtlespeed 212 #4 July 9, 2004 The ceremony commemorates the first time you get 7 talented skydivers that fly well enough to catch your flailing butt in time to hold a free flown 8-way for five seconds. The ceremony is informative and fun. (Traditions are the best!) Lots of beer, and then there's some beer involved, and lest we forget the beer - get the picture? What is the best part? You are given at least one trophy back with you. Several acomplished skydivers are mentioned and remembered and you end up with a lot of friends you never knew were there and a bond that lifts the spirits and pride. Derek Thomas (owner of Sunpath and Lyle Presse organizer of PST) will be at SKyFest as well. Between the two of them they probably have 17,000 jumps, i wonder if the Pink Mafia can help us get them?
