ICQ

Recommended Posts

I quit using ICQ when they made it a windows exploder plugin and took away the freestanding program. I never really liked it. I was always on IRC and anyone I wanted to talk too would be in a chat room anyways.

I use MSN now because it's the only one that doesn't jackup my network firewall at work. Plus IT Dept. here says it's the only "approved" version of an IM you can use. Even though some of my buds in IT use Trillian, I only have an MSN signon, so Trillian is a waste of time for me. If I'm only using MSN Msgr.

I used ICQ right after it first came out (I think I was about the 3000th user... #103358. dont ask me how i remember that. and I think everyone at the time started with at least 10 at the beginning.). But in all the time I had it, I only found a few other people that used it. Everyone I knew had AOL at the time, so when AIM came out, I was "forced" into using it.
