skybeergodd 0 #1 December 29, 2009 I'm doing a repair and need type 13 and type 8 webbing in white. Does anyone know where I can buy several yards of each. The only place I found with those sizes in white sell by the roll only and I don't need nearly that much. Aerostore, paragear and sunshine factory do not carry white. I want to keep the option of contacting manufactures as an absolute last resort. I have found trying to buy raw materials from manufacturers a HUGE nightmare. Thanks for the help. Try Ray Farrell at Action Air, he has all of the old Fliteline inventory. we built several white harnesses out of T7 and T8, not sure about T13 though. Mick. PS: Happy new year all!! ZigZagMarquis 8 #6 January 2, 2010 Did you try calling these... http://djassociates.thomasnet.com/ ... guys and see if they'll see by the yard vs. roll?
skybeergodd 0 #7 January 2, 2010 yeah.... I do alot of hardware buying from them...they are by the roll only.
ZigZagMarquis 8 #8 January 2, 2010 Quote yeah.... I do alot of hardware buying from them...they are by the roll only. Bummer. I guess their claim of being "Small Quantity Specialists" isn't quite ture... also, they quote prices by the roll or by the yard... guess their web-site is a bit out of date, might want to point that out to them. safetyjim 5 #9 January 2, 2010 "also, they quote prices by the roll or by the yard... guess their web-site is a bit out of date" - - - - - - - ??? What you describe was correct some time ago, but has since been fixed. In each major category of Webbing & Tape, the top of each list states "Price is per roll", each item is listed as priced by "Roll", and the only prices shown are by the roll. Only one lone item (1" black commercial tubular webbing) still shows the previous formatting. I suspect a few folks pointed out to them that the previous format was confusing. ZigZagMarquis 8 #10 January 2, 2010 Wow. Some folks just need to argue about everything. Is your name Chuck? Anyway, sorry, I was confused by the fact that they also qoute a price by the yard... for example... http://djassociates.thomasnet.com/item/all-categories/nylon-webbing/item-2350?&plpver=10&origin=keyword&by=prod&filter=0 ... scroll down, near the bottom. safetyjim 5 #11 January 2, 2010 Hey, you're right. When you drill down to individual listings, it's still the same confusing format. That explains the "one" item in a category by itself. No intent to argue, no matter what you might choose to assume. I thought they'd finally fixed it. Main categories yes, individual listings ...no. ZigZagMarquis 8 #12 January 2, 2010 sorry... was a bit testy this morning... car troubles prevented me from heading to the DZ to jump today... Anyway... on topic: If anyone comes across a place where one can by webbing by the yard, other than ParaGear, please pass it on. Thanks.
highspeeddirt 0 #13 January 4, 2010 you might try parachute equipment corp(paraequip.com). Warren usually will sell by the yard.
