True line dump requires ridiculously loose rubber bands and "imaginative" line stow methods.
True line dump breaks lines, breaks risers, tears canopy fabric, bends hip rings and takes four days to straighten your neck.

I'd also add that if you entangle a line with a rubber band stow, odds are it will break and the canopy will deploy normally. If you entangle a line with one of those locking 'teeth' I'd doubt that it would release.

You mean due to the loose stowage of the lines? Given that BASE and reserve canopies use a similar system, I could see how a good 'pocket' design could work well. If the magnets can hold as well as velcro it might give a similar level of reliability (assuming care stowing the lines of course.)

There are no locking theeth with the Mpod.
Never heard of a line entanglement with the locking theeth of the other versions. Everything is possible, but ...
