boinky 0 #1 March 29, 2005 I need some suggestions for oils/lotions that can be used for full body massages. I don't want anything too greasy or slippery and it doesn't necessarily have to be warming or "flavored."Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? craichead 0 #6 March 29, 2005 Body Shop is always a good bet...there is an unscented oil as well as a lotion. Their body butters are fantastic, too. http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/browse/sub_category.jsp?categoryId=cat20077 _Pm__ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)
boinky 0 #7 March 29, 2005 QuoteOlive Oil... After you rinse it off How soon afterwards do you have to wash it off? It would seem to defeat the purpose of relaxing/sleeping if you have to hop up and wash it off afterwards. butterflysb 0 #11 March 29, 2005 I am a massage therapist and I use raw virgin coconut oil. You can get it from any health food store, most likely in the cooking section. It has antibacterial and antiviral properties to it. Your skin will love it!

Aveda is a store that sells bath and body products -- its also environmentally friendly and does a lot to help improve and protect the earth. But all its products smell great. Its also a spa in some areas. go to www.aveda.com also to go directly to masssage area go to http://www.aveda.com/templates/products/multiproduct.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY7181 Stores are all over the country but I am not sure if in your area.. But check on the website and it will tell you where nearest one is.. good luck! What a lucky person your "massagee" is.
