freeflyfree 0 #1 July 13, 2005 I'll be in jumping in Titusvile tomorrow wednesday, but besides freefall what would be a nice spot to watch the launch from? lisamariewillbe 1 #2 July 13, 2005 cant watch it during freefall, not since sept 11th, so just sit on the DZ with everyone else and tell them Lisamarie says hiSudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this

skymama 35 #4 July 13, 2005 I can see it from my house and I'm 30 minutes inland. I think if you just stay put at the dz that you'll be fine. I think it's probably a little late to find a good spot for the actual lift-off. What I usually do is watch the lift-off on tv and then run outside to see it overhead. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Meux 0 #5 July 13, 2005 Try Sand Point, by the Marina on US 1. From the DZ, take Williams St. to Garden, go East on Garden to the second light at US 1 go North about half a mile or so, turn into the marina and bear left past all the boats and right out onto that little spit of land there. Won't be as crowded as by the mall and the view is, pretty good. Enjoy, God Speed the STS crew. Mo
klingeme 0 #6 July 13, 2005 I know a bunch of people are meeting at the Irish Pub on US1 and walking accross the street for the launch. Sadly, I'll be watching it from a parking lot in Deland, because I'm at work. Mark Klingelhoefer
