F16Driver 0 #1 January 26, 2006 Hey everyone, just sitting here at Balad AB, Iraq, on 24 hour alert status. Not much to do except surf the net and see what the rest of the world is up to. A little bored right now so I thought I'd start a post. I can't wait to get home and hit some boogies this summer. My other job lets me travel for free and I'll have a lot of time off. Hopefully, I'll get to see some of you this summer. Take Care! "I promise, I will never die."

In one of my college computer classes we were able to access a lot of porn sites. I don't remember much from that class. Except it had something to do with Japanese twins. Cool, I was in Al Udied 1.5 years ago. That place is Club Med compared to here. This place has turned into a mudhole lately from the rain. Oh well, things could be MUCH worse. I don't know how any of us could survive over here without the internet. When we had a computer glitch a few days ago, everyone in my squadron freaked (including me). Everything's okay know. Everything, is going to be, O.K. "I promise, I will never die."

Good on ya going to Deland. If I didn't have to do this trip I would be spending my winter months there. Oh well, there is always next year. "I promise, I will never die." homer 0 #16 January 26, 2006 I always wanted one of the shurpas to land at my home camp so I could jump from it. They used to buzz my camp on there way to a near by air base. added- in case you don't know what the shurpa is it looks like a CASA will a long pointy nose. F16Driver 0 #18 January 26, 2006 Jordan, I see your from Lawton. I spent Sept 2000 - Feb 2002 doing my pilot training and other AF courses in Wichita Falls, TX. I used to ride my R1 up to Lawton on the weekends because it was the closest place that had an Outback Steakhouse. Mmm.....Steak. I wish I could remember the name of the mountain just north of town that you could drive all the way to the top (the road wrapped around it). "I promise, I will never die." F16Driver 0 #25 January 26, 2006 QuoteOh yeah. Forgot! Still a great program at Sheppard! Internationals and all! The NATO students and instructors definitely give that place some character. My favorite time was when the German Luftwaffe flew in an Airbus full of food, beer, and a band, for Oktoberfest. Don't remember a whole lot from that night. "I promise, I will never die."
