Duck Hugger

Recommended Posts

At work today we had a mommy duck and several little ones trucking across the ramp and she led them right over a storm drain. Over half of them took a dive. Several co-workers pulled up the grate and held on to a woman's feet to rescue them. A great humanitarian act or is natural selection disturbed?

I worked at a building complex in New Jersey for several years. There was an 50'x50' enclosed area that was used by the same duck every year for her nest. Every year, once the ducklings were hatched and around, crows would come in and eat them.
We are all engines of karma
