I need your critics for my rig

Recommended Posts

Neat looking rig (somewhat like a VORTEX).

Personally not a fan of Chest Rings as they can allow too much movement of the container at times.

Maybe you could wear a WHITE jump suit so we can see the rig better ;)

I like my canopy...

...it lets me down.

Ok, you asked. But please don’t take this as criticism.

The top of the reserve container sits low enough on your back that along with the chest strap location, I can see problems keeping your shoulder pads (top of reserve to top of ring-cover) on your shoulders in head-down flying for one. I will be kind and stop there.

Welcome to the club.

Don't stop there Jeff..you know more than we do...!

Does the yoke look a bit narrow too? :)

I've found the single ring design like Rigging Inovations uses for their hip rigs seem like it provides more flexibility then the RW8 ring does.

Design looks nice though. Congratulations on building it on your own!
