Fifty State Fallers

Recommended Posts

Hello Folks,

We have an update to our group of Fifty State Fallers!
CONGRATULATIONS:
Walt Russo and
Jack Barnes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The list now stands at (In chronological order-please correct me if I am wrong):

FIFTY STATE FALLERS

1. Bobby Valenzuela
2. Shawn Leslie
3. Karen Hawes
4. Satomi Yamanaka
5. Atsushi Yamanaka
6. Betty Moore
7. Harry Moore
8. Walt Russo
9. Jack Barnes

As Betty and I travel around we are always searching for someone who should be on the list but is not. If our list is correct Jack is the last of the single digits.

We jumped again in Hawaii last month and talked with Satomi and Atsushi. The largest collection of FSF's in one place! We jumped at Vandalia last weekend and met John Cox aka Chile. I believe he has 42 states and is actively pursuing the remaning 8.
Anyone else who is working towards jumping all fifty states please PM me.
Thanks!

Congrats to the last of the single digits.

For me, five down, forty five to go.

Maybe I could make the first one thousand.

Amazing.... all 50 states...

I have done 12 states... 38 to go. Doubt that I will ever get any more than 5 or 10 more in my lifetime since the last big DZ state that I haven't been to is Arizona. I'm not even trying...

Call Brian in Ogden rent the 182 file a notam and jump ;) Other then that not sure but you don't have a DZ to jump just a plane you can get out of and know how to file a notam :)

My DZ has helped with this in the past, btw. We're "based" in South Dakota but actually jump in MN. We dropped one of the 50SF into the South Dakota rest stop about 15 miles from the DZ once, and then picked him up :D

Where is there to jump in Wyoming?? I grew up there.

=====================================

We jumped at Pine Haven south of Devils Tower in 2004. They had a 182. Great views of DT and the Keyhole Reservoir. They were non USPA. Antelope were grazing on the grass around the runway. What fun!:)
