Local TV station message was: - If you don't have to go out don't go!!!!! - If you are out don't breath fast - your lungs might freeze!!! I have some frost bites but not from that!!! I was playing hockey in -25 C for 2 hours and my right leg turned blue!!! Edit to add: -42 C without wind !!!!!!!!!!Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls! So cold that my radiator "slushed" up driving at highway speeds...had to drive about 40 until it "warmed up" to -38..then things were fine. When in the Army I jumped on the Yukon river at Galena, AK..was -47 when we stepped out of the door and got down to -65 that night.
