Yep, really left my mark on the world so far. Anyhow, I always thought there was just one accent on the last e, but the wordchecker on my word processor (fokkin' microsoft!) sez there should be an accent on BOTH e's instead. Waddaya think? johnsw71 0 #6 February 20, 2007 My take is that there is only one. Yes, there are two in the original French word, but the pronunciation has been modified since its arrival in English. If you use both accents, it would be pronounced "ray-zu-may". But, since in English we say "rez-uh-may", the first accent should be dropped when spelling it in English.
