I learned AutoCad years ago, but my level of knowledge stopped at about R14.

For the record, I think AutoCad is one of the most kludged pieces of junk software I'd ever seen with archaic legacy crapola in it from R2. The entire interface needed a huge rework. Not user friendly at all.

At $2500 a pop, it holds a lot of features, but you're right, it is way complicated. I probably only used about 5-10% of the functions it offers in 10 years, but damn it did have great 3D modeling features that I self-taught myself to use. I used it from R11 all the way to R2000.
