I have to agree. Skip Justine. Sade actualy disowned the book. He was pushed into spiceing it up by the publisher. He had been working on the story and you can still see heart of the original story in it. The book is still shocking today and was almost criminal in the early 1800's. The debauchery becomes repedative and almost boaring. The real heart of the book lies in a series of conversations Justine has with the other carictors. By the time your half way through it you'll start skimming through the chapters looking for the next debate on ethics. Check out some of his other works insted. If you send me a copy of what your working on I'll give you an opionion.
