jumper03 0 #1 July 7, 2006 A well sewn zipper. I replaced a jumpsuit zipper a few weeks ago and missed a TINY bit of the fold over where an inside pocket was sewn to the zipper. It irked the crap out of me to no end even when I didn't see it. I guess I was just surprised at how much it irritated me... So I stole the jumpsuit back, fixed it and now I can sleep at night. ZigZagMarquis 8 #2 July 7, 2006 Replacing zippers in jumpsuits SUCKS!!! I always get really really PISSED when I have to do one... even though I'm not the fastest sewer in the world, I usually enjoy doing it... except for ZIPPERS!
riggerrob 558 #3 July 7, 2006 I must have slept through that class in riggers' school. Why do skydivers automatically assume that I know how to repair jumpsuits, when I have never had any formal instruction on the process????? Inquiring minds want to know. mr2mk1g 10 #4 July 7, 2006 My local rigger appears to do a sideline in whuffo clothes alteration for jumpers. The number of times I've popped in and seen a jumper with his jeans off and the rigger sewing them for him.
