auburnguy 0 #1 December 20, 2007 So ive got this high school reunion tonight in like 3 hours. votes on if I should go. I didnt really like high school and I dont really like any of the people who are gonna be there."If you don't like your job, you don't strike! You just go in every day, and do it really half assed. skydiver30960 0 #2 December 20, 2007 Go check it out, you can always leave. How many years? I've only gone to my 5 year (missed the 10 year) but it was fun to see who got fat, who got skinny, who got married, and all that stuff. NWFlyer 2 #3 December 20, 2007 I need more information... 1. How long ago did you graduate? 2a. Have you paid anything to attend? 2b. Is there an open bar? 3. Are you a hit man?"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. The thing is that I only graduated 3 years ago (yeah, really early to have one) Paid nothing Im not 21 but the place its at does not card for private parties. Hit man? I wouldnt want to get close to the target, I would prefer to stay at least 50+ yards away (hollow point .22, impossible to trace because so many 22's are in circulation)."If you don't like your job, you don't strike! NWFlyer 2 #6 December 20, 2007 You're far too young for a high school reunion to have any schadenfreude value whatsoever. Go to your local video store. Rent a movie called Grosse Pointe Blank and watch it tonight. Then you'll understand #3 and you'll have much more fun than actually going to the reunion."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. CSpenceFLY 1 #7 December 20, 2007 I went to me 5, 10 and 20. They all pretty much sucked although I did see a few people I wanted to at the last one. I crashed the last one so at least I got my moneys worth. I went to show them what I became, either a great successful guy or proud to be an asshole. You decide which. All I wanted out of school was out.
auburnguy 0 #8 December 20, 2007 I've seen the movie multiple times."If you don't like your job, you don't strike! You just go in every day, and do it really half assed. That's the American way." - Homer Simpson

auburnguy 0 #10 December 20, 2007 One reason it will probobly be akward is because ive hooked up with several of the girls that are gonna be there including one guys younger sister (he was a good friend of mine in high school)."If you don't like your job, you don't strike! Bolas 5 #12 December 20, 2007 Nah, 3 years is too soon. My plan for my 10th was to do the exact opposite of everyone else. Instead of trying to pretend I'm rich and important, I was gonna go the other way, but be overly cheerful Show up in a Taco Bell uniform. "I'm doing GREAT!!! Another six months and I'll make assistant manager on the night shift. I just got new lamb skin seat covers for my Geo Metro. Moved down to the basement of my parents house so I have my own door now. Just became treasurer of our LORP clan. Got a killer deal on a rare Pokemon card and only have 15 more payments on my russian bride." Meh, maybe I'll go for my 15th, the more years off I put it, the funnier it will be. 3 years out of school? Skip it. Call some of your old friends if you want and do something else. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
auburnguy 0 #13 December 20, 2007 so... go or no go? Could just walk in dressed like a homeless person."If you don't like your job, you don't strike! BillyVance 34 #15 December 21, 2007 I went to my 10 year reunion, but missed my 20th last year. The 10 year reunion was very interesting, to say the least. The beautiful bitches in high school were fat and smokers, the so-so girls were knock-outs, the handsome jocks became fat and balding, and the nerds had all the money and fancy cars. I showed up at my 10 year reunion in my beautiful black Porsche 914, and I was voted Most Eligible Bachelor. It WAS a fun weekend though. TEB6363 0 #16 December 21, 2007 Yep, Grosse Point Blank was great... Wish I had my gun - WHAT - I said, we're gonna have fun... Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!
auburnguy 0 #17 December 21, 2007 ok, i think im gonna go and just laugh at how fat all the pretty girls have gotten."If you don't like your job, you don't strike! PeteW 0 #18 December 21, 2007 I went to my 10 year this summer. I almost didnt go but some friends convinced me. I hated school and never really achieved much. Life got better for me the day quit school. So it was kinda cool to go back and see everyone. Time is good to some and not to others. Some people change and some dont. I say go for it. aardvarkeater 0 #20 December 21, 2007 I skipped my 10th to go to the dropzone instead. I used to think it'd be great to go back to my reunion and show up everyone but then I realized I didn't' give a fuck what they thought. Plus I think one weekend at the dz is more fun than 10 high school reunions.Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
auburnguy 0 #21 December 21, 2007 Went. It was sub mediocre. Saw some people I hadn't seen in years blah blah blah.
