I'm running 2560x1024 I'll have to see if my local Linux pusher (buddy over at the Help Desk) has downloaded it yet so I can play around with it. He's a RedHat/Debian guy, but usually snags the Ubuntu/Xubuntu releases to mess around with them... I liked a lot of the stuff that I saw messing about with Eft and Fawn, but like I said above, I like my games too much to switch over entirely... not to mention Lightroom/PS CS3.Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. I *do* see your point, but I'm not a huge console gamer.Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
Scoop 0 #32 July 6, 2008 I am now completely free of Windows.. finally! I'm now running Freespire instead of Ubuntu 7.04 (although it is Ubuntu based). I have to say its awesome. Works right out the box. No need to unpack any futher archives, it comes with all the video and audio drivers preinstalled, loads of plug n play compatibility and I was even able to run my PCMCIA Linkysys wireless card without any problems. Something I've never been able to do. Oh and it looks damn purdy. Not one single MS product on my laptop now, not even dual booting :D
