Your Home Town : Photo Series.....

Recommended Posts

Tony,

Looks like a beautiful town you live in. Here's some general pics from me.

First 3 are from the town I was born and raised in for my first 27 years. Northport, Long Island:

Next one is where I currently live and is something we stole from you Brits. It's located at our town hall.

Stolen from Tony

Cheers mate,

Hi Chris, how are you?

Looks like a nice town... must be great living near the water.

Sleeping must be a right pain in your new gaff... and over here they always smell of wee[:/].

All the best,

It certainly was. That is Northport Harbor which is part of the Long Island Sound. The boating there is fantastic. I really miss it.

On L.I. eveyone lives near or not far from the water; be it the Sound or the Atlantic.

I grew up in a several small towns in east texas called Canton, winnsboro. and mount vernon. Dunno if anyone has ever heard of any of them. Canton has the "First Monday Trade Days"... supposed to be the largest flea market in the world. I do not have any pictures readily available but if interested you could probably find something on flickr. The towns usually had no more than 2200 people, 2 of the 3 were the county seat with the court house square.. family owned businesses everybody knows everybody type stuff.. All were within about 30 mile radius of eachother.
Sorry for the long post requiring some of you to read.
