Anyone out there a flight instructor?

Anything other than CFI work is probably going to require time in type for insurance purposes and pipeline / survey is pretty tough to break into.

Trying to land that first gig is pretty tough. Probably your best bet is wherever you got your training and even then . . .

Wellll....I'm from Ohio. I haven't been there in awhile though. After college I traveled around the country with the MetLife blimp for a year and a half. I've been in Virginia since March. I have another week or so here finishing up 2 more checkrides. Then I'm down to go anywhereeeee. :-D
