This isn't the type of thing some officer would pull out of his ass and charge someone with, typically. The assault charge will probably be plead out for the DWI case with the CA. He didn't commit a crime, he commited a foul. Cop shoulda got two free throws. No video, it didn't happen. Shoulda been charged with assault.My reality and yours are quite different.
