eightate8at8 0 #1 March 3, 2009 Well, I'm kinda bummed. Aside from GT being a nice school, I was really looking forward to the skydiving club!

Gary73 8 #4 March 4, 2009 Georgia State's a good school, and close enough to maybe share rides to the dropzone with the Techies. Check with Travis - there may still be a way to join the club, since GSU is also part of the University System of Georgia. If none of that works, then definitely start a club wherever you go. LyraM45 0 #5 March 4, 2009 Give Florida Tech a try. I already cut through all the red tape and started the club for ya there! Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)
popsjumper 2 #6 March 4, 2009 Have you thought about Skydive U? My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
Icon134 0 #7 March 4, 2009 Also The Ohio State University has a very well established Skydiving Club and relationship with local DZs... It even has some good technical programs as well. Gary73 8 #8 March 4, 2009 I checked with the Georgia Tech club. Unfortunately, only Tech students and faculty can join. I assume that location was part of the equation in applying to Tech, so I'll repeat my recommendation regarding GSU (or one of the other state schools) and starting a club there. Good luck! smears 0 #9 March 4, 2009 You can try Clemson. It's about 2 hours away and has a skydiving club. Best part is the dz is only 5 min from campus!

eightate8at8 0 #11 March 5, 2009 Definitely would Dave, it would just be wayyy better to get into a club that is already well established, ya know? Quote Give Florida Tech a try. I already cut through all the red tape and started the club for ya there! Florida Institute of Technology? I was accepted there, but have lost interest after realizing the size of the school and how new it is. Can you give me any information on it that would change my decision? And I'm up in Northern Illinois, I'd only be near GT if I infact went there ha
