BillyVance 34 #7 February 13, 2010 Quoteback to the bacon loving post .... Can ANYONE tell me me how to keep Canadian bacon from curling in the pan??? When I was growing up, my parents had a glass pane with a knob they bought in a store just for bacon. Lay the bacon on the griddle then stick the glass pane on top of them. They come out flat cooked. I just do it the hard way, use a fork to hold the ends down until they stay down. ifall 0 #8 February 13, 2010 Amazon beat you to it dude. She just didn't have a cool "when I was growing up" story to go with it. So, I guess you could call it even.Edit: actually, cast iron is much better so I take that back, Amazon wins!!! JohnMitchell 14 #15 February 13, 2010 I have 3 cast iron frying pans, small, medium and large. I cook bacon in the large pan and nest the medium pan on top as a bacon press. Works great.
