kmills0705 0 #1 September 27, 2010 :7: 5 tandems - which is hard work out of a C182. 2 fun jumps - 2 way sunset RW throwing in a little kiss pass and an awesome 4 way jump. Beer will be a regular thing for me as I work through the new stuff being thrown at me while hauling tandem students. Lessons learned: * Fetal position on student is bad. Trust that you can outfly what is being thrown at you. * Students will pull high. * 6'4" students suck when attached to a 5'5" girl. * Scared passengers will pin your hands and arms on opening. * Don't hook up too early in a C182. * You can hear your passengers screaming on exit. * Learn communications skills with video guy (stuff like that not taught in course). Good overall weekend. Let's hear what you all have.Kim Mills USPA D21696 Tandem I, AFF I and Static Line I

Southern_Man 0 #3 September 27, 2010 :0:Only made it out to the DZ on Sunday due to a football game on Saturday (I have season tickets so this will be a theme for a while). Anyway, overcast and no funjumpers out, plus my reserve was not repacked yet, so no rig to jump anyway. While I was there I took my B license quiz and passed, so I bought beer."What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Low ceilings then the TFR scared off our pilot, "something bout being violated in prison is to be expected but don't want to get violated in an airplane." They didn't shut us down when W was in town and we jumped over Air Force One sitting on the tarmac? It's called the Hillbilly Hop N Pop dude. If you're gonna be stupid, you better be tough.
