After all, it is just a car, not the sum of my existence. My cars don't have any bumper stickers on them, just Marine Corps tag frames. I'd very much encourage you to go do an intro trackday with one of your Vettes. I did trackdays for years on my bikes and it really amazes me what these machines are capable of and how little of that ability we use on a daily basis. Don't worry about "racing", it's just taking your car to its natural environment!In every man's life he will be allotted one good woman and one good dog.
