godfrog 2 #1 February 23, 2006 I was driving down the highway near Beatty Nev. when I spot this crashed Beech sitting alongside the road on the property of a brothel with yolo dz painted on the tail. The lady said there used to be an airstrip there, anybody know any history on this plane or the yolo dz.Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward
skybytch 259 #2 February 23, 2006 I know nothing about the aircraft but AFAIK the Yolo DZ was at the Yolo County Airport outside Davis, California (current home of Skydance Skydiving). I could be wrong, of course.

ldk 2 #4 February 2, 2014 The owner was a good friend. I jumped from that plane at Calistoga, Yolo and Pope Valley. It was the primary asset in night time "Mile High Patch" operation when it crashed on landing. I wasn't part of that group, but if my memory serves me...everyone walked back to the house where Ground Zero patches where earned as well.
